Ancient fossils found in Cuba : 19-09-2007

Archaelogists in Cuba have unearthed a group of fossils which could be date back as far as 20 million years ago, according to reports.
The fossils ancient fossils were found in Sancti Spiritus, a central Cuban province.
The find was announced by the Caving Society, which resides on the island, the Mathaba News Agency reports.
The society reported that the fossils were discovered in a cave near the Cayajana River, east of Havana.
It is believed that the fossils have come from the remains of large crocodiles and dugongs large marine mammals.
