Cuba hosts Chinese cultural festival: 17-07-2008

Cuba has hosted its eighth Chinese Cultural Festival in Havana with shows of shadowboxing and the traditional Lion dance.
The festival also featured the world famous Shaolin monks who performed a Kung-Fu exhibition as part of their tour of Latin America.
As well as martial arts shows, visitors to the three-day event were treated to Chinese cuisine exhibitions, music and a kite-flying competition.
Cuban deputy minister of culture Fernando Rojas hailed the event an example of China and Cuba's ongoing good relations.
Travellers to Cuba will enjoy visiting historic Havana, which is a Unesco World Heritage Site.
A walk through the city has been described as like a trip back in time with its beautiful buildings and old-school cars.
Beach lovers are also spoiled for choice as the country's communist history has curtailed beachside development meaning that there are countless unspoiled spots to enjoy the Caribbean waters.
Big game fishing and scuba diving are massive attractions around the islands while those on land can enjoy excellent hiking and horse riding through beautiful scenery.
