The driest and best time to travel is from November to April. The wet season runs from May to October though it generally only rains for a couple of hours a day, so trips remain a possibility.
The highlands are known for having beautiful warm days but cool nights and the lowlands are usually hot all year round. December and January are the coolest months especially in the highlands, however this remains a lovely time to visit with clear blue skies and fresh sunny days.
