The Panamonte is situated on the fringe of Boquete but still offers easy access to and from the town centre. Founded in 1928 it has been run by three generations of the Elliott-Collins family. The hotel has 12 rooms decorated in a distinctive style, many with original early 20th century prints and photos. There are lovely gardens to the rear of the hotel and fireplaces in the lounge for the cool mountain evenings. Their restaurant is excellent and one of the best in Boquete.
