Day by Day

Day 1London - Mexico City

Fly from London to Mexico City where you will be met and transferred to your hotel in the centre of the historic district.

Day 2Mexico City

At leisure to explore the city - visit the famous bustling zocalo (plaza), the lively markets, listen to mariachi players and visit the wonderful Anthropological museum.

Day 3Mexico City

At leisure to perhaps visit the famous Pyramids of Teotihuacan or take a boat ride through Xochimilco floating gardens.

Day 4Mexico City - Oaxaca

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Oaxaca where you will be met and taken to your hotel.

Day 5Oaxaca

At leisure to visit the vibrant colonial city of Oaxaca. Explore the plaza, fabulous Santo Domingo church and attached museum with remnants from the Zapotec ruins of Monte Alban.

Day 6Oaxaca - Mexico City - Tuxtla - San Cristóbal de las Casas

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Tuxtla via Mexico City where you will be met and driven to San Cristobal with a stop en-route to take a speed-boat excursion through the famous Sumidero Canyon.

Day 7San Cristóbal de las Casas

At leisure in the indigenous city of San Cristobal de las Casas in the Chiapan highlands of Mexico. Explore the markets and colonial centre and if time adventure to the fascinating local Indian villages to understand their age old traditions.

Day 8San Cristóbal de las Casas - Palenque

Transfer out of San Cristobal to Palenque with your Spanish speaking Driver.

Day 9Palenque

This morning take a half day tour of the incredibly atmospheric ruins at Palenque in the heart of the jungle. This afternoon relax at your hotel

Day 10Palenque - Villahermosa - Merida

This morning transfer to Villahermosa for your flight to Merida where you will be met and driven to your hotel. This afternoon at leisure to explore - wander the cobbled streets, soak up the local atmosphere in one of the delightful street cafes and visit the central plaza.

Day 11Merida - Chichén Itzá

This morning take a shared transfer to the magnificent UNESCO world heritage site of Chichen Itza where you will check in to your hotel.

Day 12Chichén Itzá - Playa del Carmen

This morning before the crowds arrive take a shared tour of Chichen Itza before transferring to your wonderful beach hotel along the white sands of the Mayan Riviera.

Day 13Mayan Riviera - Playa del Carmen

At leisure to relax and sunbathe.
