The Savoy is an excellent starting point to experience the colonial ambience of Ooty. The individual cottages, many with bedrooms and separate sitting rooms, all feature fireplaces - especially welcome in the winter months. The bar, once filled with colonial rulers escaping the heat of the plains, has been fully restored to its appearance in days of glory.
