Harsha is the only native of India in the Indian Subcontinent team. After graduating in Commerce he went to the US to pursue his passion for flying. He obtained a Commercial Pilots License but realising that his real interest was in travel he returned to India to start his own travel company. After moving to England he joining the Audley India team. Since then he has travelled extensively through Rajasthan, the Northern Foothills and the tiger parks of North and Central India. He recently explored Gujarat which is famous for its tribal culture and textiles but his main focus was to see the Asiatic Lions at the Sasan Gir National Park and the migration of flamingo at the Little Rann of Kutch, one of the best birding sites in India.
Steve developed a love of India after his first trip that unexpectedly extended into 12 months travelling throughout the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia. Returning to England he pursued a new career in the travel industry and since then Steve has travelled the world extensively. Throughout each of his travelling experiences, Steve always found himself returning to India and has developed a real love of the whole country, its culture and especially its wildlife. His travels with Audley have included the tiger parks of central India, the remote wildlife sanctuaries of the north east, the Andaman Islands and an extensive trip through Rajasthan and northern India exploring the majestic forts, palaces and character properties. Outside of work apart from a love of scuba diving Steve loves snowboarding, running and all outdoor pursuits.
