This small lodge is managed by a partnership between Taj hotels and safari experts CC Africa and opened in January 2007 after extensive refurbishment. Only five minutes drive from the park gate it consists of 12 spacious cottages, surrounded by trees in 13 acres of forest. Each cottage has A/C, private bathroom, individual verandahs and a raised private seating area. There is a central meeting place with a dining room and sitting area.
There is an external area too where camp fires are lit in the evening to allow tales of the day to be told in a cosy setting. A swimming pool has also recently been added. The lodge has resident naturalists who will accompany you on your game drives into the park and who will be able to answer all your questions about local wildlife.
