This family property is run and owned by birding enthusiast and conservationist RP Singh and his wife Anu. This a fantastic base from which to explore the Chambal river and surrounding area.
The accommodation, although basic, is clean and every effort has been made to make this lodge as eco-friendly and sympathetic to its surroundings as possible. This property is split in to separate cottage blocks and is very much geared towards the nature enthusiast, particularly those with an interest in birding.
Chambal Safari Lodge allows you to explore at your own pace. While staying here you can do as much or as little as you like. One could take a relaxing cruise on the nearby river, explore the local 101 river side Shiva temples, spot the famous sarus cranes that can be found just a short drive from the lodge. Alternatively you can just relax and enjoy over 180 species of birds that can be found within the grounds of the lodge.
