Visit Rajasthan and The North
Deogarh is a small town set in wonderful surroundings, with a 200 year-old fort and a beautiful lake with an island filled with a ruined temple and tombs. Take time to wander through the narrow streets of the town (dodging the rickshaws, cyclists, scooter and cows!) to see the small shops and market stalls. The surrounding countryside is home to many wild animals including the blue bull, wolves, jackals and leopard as well as a wide variety of birdlife.
