This majestic fort stands proudly, as though at centre stage of an ancient theatre: the scenic Aravelli Hills the backdrop, the audience the village at the foot of the private grounds. After much restoration and rebuilding, Devigarh has been transformed into a luxurious hotel.
Contemporary design maximises the space of the reception rooms, yet blends with traditional Rajasthani decor. The richness of natural materials has been incorporated throughout, but is especially evident in the bedrooms where the use of marble abounds: the marble beds seem sculpted from the marble floor, and the colour scheme in each room picks up the colour of whichever chunk of raw semi-precious stone has been placed there!
