Tailor Made Holidays in Nepal: Walking and Trekking

Walking and trekking in Nepal

Nepal is famous for its trekking and we can offer some lovely day walks or longer multiday treks.

For those looking for something less strenuous than the mountaineering feats of Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, we recommend two to twelve-night treks using the ever-hospitable local tea houses or the excellent traditionally constructed comfortable lodges, either in the Annapurna or the Everest region. With ensuite facilities and a roaring hearth, these are the ideal places to relax after a day on the trail.

For those wishing to get off the beaten track, a camping trek is the best option. Your team of cooks, porters and guides will look after your every need, from freshly cooked 3 course meals in your dining tent to sit-down loos in your toilet tent. We use high quality tents, down sleeping bags and good camping mattresses. And all of this set up on a nightly basis in handpicked spots with unrivalled mountain views.

For more information on walking and trekking in Nepal please see our dedicated feature: 'Trekking in Nepal', including a personal view, slideshow showing some of the dramatic scenery and details on the different treks that we offer including Day Treks, Camping Treks and longer 'Comfortable Lodge' Treks of up to 12 days.
