Travel show hits Nepal: 24-09-2008

Those with a passion for travel will have been glued to the TV in recent weeks watching BBC2's By Any Means.
The show sees Charley Boorman travel from his home town in Ireland, across Europe and Asia, to Sydney, Australia, by any means of transport he can – with the exception of a plane.
This week, the show will follow the intrepid presenter as he makes his way into Nepal by tuk tuk – an experience Boorman enjoys so much that he decides to buy one.
He utilises various forms of transport to get him across to China, including an elephant and a hot air balloon.
As an experienced traveller, Boorman has written a list of ten tips on the show's website.
"Make sure you have all the correct paperwork before you leave," he advises anyone setting off on an adventure.
"Try to organise everything before you go.
"The last thing you want to do is turn up at a checkpoint or border crossing and find you left something at home or at your last hotel."
Fans of travel shows may remember Boorman from his previous adventures, including his motorbike journeys with Ewan McGregor - The Long Way Down and The Long Way Around.
