The first thing you notice on arrival at Himalaya Lodge is the massive peaks of Annapurna South (7,219m) and its neighbour Hiunchuili (6,441m) towering over the valley. The sunrise views from here (enhanced by a steaming cup of tea, brought to your door) must be some of the most spectacular in Nepal. The 11 rooms are simple but very comfortable, and the fantastic staff ensures that you are fed (delicious home made food), watered, and very well looked after.
