Arguably the best resort in the Pokhara area built on a hill top a thousand feet above the Pokhara valley. The fourteen beautiful and tasteful bungalows built of hand-cut stone comprises 20 rooms, each with adjoining bathroom and private verandah. They are spread throughout the lovely gardens on a ridge overlooking the valley below.
It is a superb place to stay within sight of the Annapurnas, and each room and the main terrace has an uninterrupted mountain view. The lodge is located about 30 minutes from Pokhara, the final section on a very bumpy road. The facilities include a small library, stunning outdoor swimming pool, comfortable restaurant and cosy bar. Nearby walks and massages can be arranged with a few hours' notice. As is the standard for most Tiger Mountain properties throughout Nepal, there are no TVs or telephones. The food is home cooked and delicious and most the vegetables come from the property's own organic gardens.
