Flame of the Forest
Kanha National Park
A dream hideaway for nature enthusiasts nestling right next to the Banjar River the Lodge offers absolute privacy with a stunning view over the river and deep into the Jungles.
There are only four luxury cottages, built and designed in the local gober (mud/water/cow dung mix), with private sit-outs, comfortable interiors, and spacious bathrooms.
The owner Karan, previously working as a naturalist with the Taj Safaris group, decided with his Swiss wife, to provide a small personal camp with a personalised service located 15 minutes from the Kisli gate. Karan himself enjoys taking his guests on jeep safaris as he extremely passionate about Kanha's wildlife and natural environment.
There are no TV's, mini bars or swimming pool but an outside waterfall style shower, peaceful setting, and beautiful views over the river more than make up for it.
