Kings Lodge trains local villagers and tribals as naturalist and camp staff. Their vision is that the forest dwellers are the genuine protectors of wildlife if guided correctly which is supported by the whole team. They have incredible naturalists here with a wealth of knowledge and experience in tracking and wildlife conservation. This lodge is also one of only 3 lodges in Bandhavgarh that offer air conditioned accommodation.
This property is situated in Rancha village only a short drive from the Tala gate entry to Bandhavgarh National Park and is set amidst 12 acres of sal forest. It comprises 4 cottage rooms and 8 stilt rooms and all have en-suite modern bathrooms. Each stilt unit has a wooden lofted balcony.
All rooms are well appointed and decorated with tribal art, giving the lodge a jungle feel. The hotel also sports a library, infinity swimming pool and watchtower as well as a massage deck. The lodge has been built to blend with the surrounding landscape and has eco-sensitive policies.
