A million miles away from nine to five is Conrad Maldives. An island paradise offering the uncompromising facilities you would expect from a five star resort, but still having a surprisingly relaxed and true Maldivian feel. A feature that is unique for a resort this size.

LOCATION
Situated 90 kilometres (60 miles) southwest of Male, the resort is reached by seaplane. This is a stunning 30 minute flight over the atolls and islands of the Maldives.

ACCOMMODATION
The resort comprises of two separate islands which are connected by a bridge and a shuttle boat. The main island consists of 79 luxurious Beach Villas and 21 Spa Water Villas, while on the smaller island the accommodation is made up of just 50 Water Villas.

The Beach Villas on the larger island are both luxurious and extremely spacious, beautiful outdoor bathrooms in leafy courtyards with oversized bath tubs. Some have private plunge pools. The Spa Water Villas are also located on the larger island and next to the Spa Retreat. Staying here includes a wellness consultation on arrival and spa treatments, fitness classes and use of the gymnasium. (Each villa has an allocated daily credit for use against treatments and classes). The Water Villas offer the best of both worlds - the privacy and tranquillity of a small island combined with the extensive facilities found on the larger island.

FACILITIES
The resort's well appointed spa is situated in a series of stilted over-water buildings. Glass panels in the floors allow you to watch the fish below while you enjoy your treatment - the ultimate in relaxation. If spa treatments are the reason for your travels, then you might prefer the Spa Water Villas, each with its own attached two-bedded treatment rooms.

The variety of dining options is excellent with the main restaurant offering no less then eight different types of cuisine in eight show kitchens. Even more remarkable is 'Ithaa' - the world's first fully underwater restaurant. In total Rangali offers seven dining venues and two bars. Rangali Bar is on the larger island and has a disco at weekends. An underground wine cellar holds over 10,000 bottles and will impressive any connoisseur.

IDEAS FOR YOUR LEISURE TIME
Among the wide range off facilities on offer, there is a good choice of water sports including diving and snorkelling; various land sports and even a small shopping arcade. A two-storey gymnasium houses the very latest in cardio equipment. Meditation, yoga and Pilates are also on offer.Island hopping, dolphin spotting and a glass bottom boat trip are just a sample of the many water activities at Rangali. The open-air cinema will keep guests young and old entertained, while the Casino Night although strictly for fun will give adults some fun all of their own.
