The Steam Ship Sudan
M/S Steam Ship Sudan, Aswan

Built in 1885 for Fouad, former king of Egypt, the Steam Ship Sudan has an illustrious history of welcoming guests aboard. Agatha Christie set her novel "Death on the Nile" on the ship and many of the film’s scenes were filmed aboard.

With just 23 stylish cabins there is a cosy intimate air during the cruise. Each cabin contains a bathtub, individual period furniture, two windows and access to the the promenade deck. The bar and restaurant cater with a varied daily menu with set dining times. The Sudan is propelled by a hybrid diesel/steam system resulting in a quieter and more energy efficient journey.
