Donna is another of our ex-tour leaders who has spent a considerable amount of time on the ground in the Middle East. Her knowledge of what to see and do is, thus, encyclopaedic and she is able to give an honest assessment of the region's attractions. Having tried her hand at a job outside travel, helping her Mum set up a dog-walking company, Donna decided she wanted to get back into the industry and we were more than happy to take her. She regularly spends time in Egypt, Morocco and Libya meeting the guides we work with, inspecting the hotels and revisiting the many remarkable sights. Highlights of her recent travels include exploring the desert scenery of the Jebel Akakus in Libya.

Harry grew up in Oman where his father was helping to set up the veterinary services in the emerging Sultanate. 25 exciting years there created an affection for this charming country, which lead him to read Arabic and Spanish at Edinburgh University. Six months studying in Egypt and a recent research trip to Syria have given him a detailed knowledge of all these fascinating countries. After working as an interpreter in Iraq, he returned to the UK, joining an exclusive hotel agency which gave him a solid introduction to the travel industry. Whenever time allows he returns to the region to visit favourite haunts, expanding his knowledge of the area. When not working, he enjoys photography, music and mastering the art of cooking a mean curry!

Natalie first started in the travel industry nine years ago working for a small tour operator specialising solely in Morocco, where she arranged tailor made holidays, fashion shoots, marathons and even some weddings! During her time there she was able to travel extensively in Morocco, so she brings with her a great enthusiasm for this fascinating country. Natalie has relocated to Oxford to join our North Africa & Arabia team as a Morocco Specialist and travels there regularly so that she can keep her knowledge on the hotels, guides and sights up-to-date. When not working or travelling, Natalie enjoys learning to ballroom and Latin dance, practising yoga and is very keen to learn how to scuba dive.
After living in the Gulf as a child, Sarah studied Arabic and French at Edinburgh University and lived in Cairo during her course. Cairo was the ideal base for travelling around Egypt, Jordan and Syria, visiting all the major cities and archaeological sites, as well as learning about the regional culture and traditions. She has since spent a year in Tunisia teaching English and completed a further degree in Middle East Studies, confirming her interest and passion for the area. Recent trips to Egypt, Jordan, Libya and Oman with Audley Travel have ensured that her enthusiasm is as strong as ever and her knowledge of the sights, guides and hotels is right up-to-date. When not working, Sarah enjoys running and playing netball and is interested in world cinema and music.
