With a relatively short flight and little time-change, it is very easy to make a flying visit to Jordan and still see a great number of the major sights, including those of the King’s Highway, Wadi Rum, and of course a full day at the legendary city of Petra itself.
Extensions
This trip can easily be extended to include more time at leisure at either the Dead Sea or the Red Sea at Aqaba. Alternatively, for the more active, a couple of days could be added at one of the RSCN reserves for the chance to do some hiking amidst dramatic, inspiring scenery.
