Places to See and Stay: Dana Guesthouse - Dana Nature Reserve

Situated overlooking the Dana Nature Reserve, Dana guesthouse is a charming locally run hostel. The Guesthouse is basic but comfortable; most rooms have a large balcony facing the valley and the restaurant has a large outdoors area; perfect for bird watching and enjoying the sunsets.

A buffet dinner is served nightly with typical Arabic fare; designed to suit the healthy appetites of the hikers who are regular guests. The rooms are basic, one of which is en-suite, the others share female and male bathrooms which have showers and hot water.

The guesthouse is primarily eco-friendly, and a community project designed to allow the residents of Dana to continue to live in the area, unlike many of their families and friends who have moved away from the remote area into the cities searching for jobs.

Please note that the RSCN do not serve alcohol in their reserves.
