Cultural inheritance to go on show18638919European travellers will have the chance to have a glimpse of the culture of Oman before visiting the country after it was announced that its cultural inheritance will go on display in Berlin from June 25th.

The Omani Culture Week's 12 exhibitions will feature crafts, a Sabla tent, fine arts, fashion, literature, calligraphy and archaeological discoveries.

A range of activities, including a seminar on "the cultural and scientific relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Germany", will take place in the city with the primary role of showcasing Oman's "rich history and culture".

Director-general of Organisations and Cultural Relations at the Ministry of Heritage and Culture Khalid bin Salim Al Ghassani said: "[It] comes within the context of maintaining communication and cultural dialogue with the foreign world... Culture Week also acts as a gateway through which the ministry can highlight the development witnessed by the Sultanate in the cultural, social and economic fields."

Adventure travellers heading to Oman can expect to take in its unique and beautiful beaches, deserts, wadis and mountains.

While there, travellers may try sand skiing, mountain climbing and even sample the thrills of camel racing.
