Day by Day

Day 1London - Cairo

Flying into Cairo, you'll be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel for a three night stay.

Day 2Cairo

This morning your private guide will collect you from the hotel and together you will spend the day exploring the pyramids at Giza, Saqqara and Dashur.

Day 3Cairo

Today you will enjoy a guided, half day tour of the Egyptian Museum, with its vast array of impressive ancient artefacts.

Day 4Cairo - Alexandria

You leave Cairo this morning and journey by road to Alexandria, Egypt's second largest city. In Alexandria you will stay for two nights at an excellently located hotel.

Day 5Alexandria

Today's half day private tour of the legendary city will include a visit to the Library, Fortress and Museum of Alexandria.

Day 6Alexandria - Cairo

After a morning exploring Alexandria under your own steam, you will be picked up for the road transfer back to Cairo, where you'll spend the night in a hotel close to the airport.

Day 7Cairo - Luxor

After breakfast you'll be transferred to the airport for a short internal flight to Luxor. Here you will be greeted and taken to your cruise ship for the beginning of your four night Nile cruise to Aswan. In the afternoon you'll enjoy a guided tour of the stunning temples of Karnak & Luxor on the East Bank.

Day 8Luxor

This morning you visit the West Bank of Luxor including the valley of the Kings and Colossi of Memnon. This afternoon is at leisure while you sail to Esna.

Day 9Luxor

This morning after breakfast you visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This afternoon you sail to Kom Ombo for guided sightseeing of the Temple of Kom Ombo.

Day 10Luxor

This morning while having breakfast you sail to Aswan. Today you have guided sightseeing of the key sites in Aswan, including Philae Temple, The Aswan High Dam and the Granite Quarries.

Day 11Aswan - Luxor

This morning you disembark your Nile cruise and will be taken straight to your Lake Nasser cruise.

Day 12Aswan

Today you enjoy a full day relaxing on board while the boat sails to Wadi El Seboua.

Day 13Aswan

This morning you visit Wadi El Seboua Temple and the Temple of Dakka. In the afternoon you sail on to visit the Temple of Amada, before moving on to Kasr Ibrim.

Day 14Aswan

The day starts with a visit to the citadel of Kasr Ibrim, prior to sailing forth to Abu Simbel. Here you'll enjoy guided sightseeing of the temples in the afternoon, before attending the evening Sound and Light show. Afterwards there is a candlelight dinner on board to mark your last night.

Day 15Aswan - Abu Simbel

An early start for a short transfer to the airport and a flight to Aswan. On arrival you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel, for two nights of relaxation and exploring.

Day 16Aswan

A day at leisure to relax in arguably Egypt's most laid back town. You might want to shop in the souks, browse the excellent Nubian museum or explore the botanical gardens.

Day 17Aswan - Cairo

After breakfast you'll check out and be driven to the airport, for a short flight to Cairo. Your final flight is back to Heathrow, arriving on the same day.
