From the outside this hotel resembles a derelict ruin, a relic of the Silk Road that serves only to remind passing cars that they are approaching Yazd.

However, inside lies a true surprise, an original, well-preserved caravanserai that has been transformed into an atmospheric and fascinating place to stay.

Sit back and take in the desert sky from the rooftop terrace, enjoy real home-cooked Persian cuisine and imagine how lucky you are to have arrived by car, as opposed to camel.
