In many respects, it is like a museum. Everything is on a grand scale except for the rooms which is why we don't rate the hotel as "deluxe".
There is a swimming pool and sauna (available on a rotational basis) and a choice of attractive restaurants, with outdoor dining in the central courtyard a real treat in spring and summer.
The location is good, off the main road and within walking distance of Imam Square.
The ornate breakfast room is remarkable and may just be the grandest room you'll ever have breakfast in!
