Day 1London - Tripoli

Today you fly from London to Tripoli. On arrival you will be met and taken to your accommodation in Tripoli.

Day 2Tripoli

This morning you set out for Leptis Magna, where you visit the Roman ruins and Museum with a local guide. Following this tour you head back to Tripoli, visiting Villa Silleen en route.

Day 3Tripoli

Today you visit Sabratha, where a local guide will be provided. On your way back to Tripoli you visit the small site of Janzour.

Day 4Tripoli - Benghazi - Al Bayda

Today you fly to Benghazi, where on arrival you are collected and drive to Al Bayda. On your way you visit the sites of Tocra and Ptolemais.

Day 5Apollonia - Al Bayda

This morning you visit Cyrene and Apollonia with a local guide.

Day 6Al Bayda - Benghazi - Tripoli

Today you travel from Al Bayda to Benghazi. En route you stop to visit the small sites of Slontah and Qasr Libya. In the evening you fly from Benghazi back to Tripoli.

Day 7Tripoli - Ghadames

Today you drive to the desert town of Ghadames. The journey will take all day but will be broken up by visits to the Berber fortified granaries at Qasr Al Haj and Nalut.

Day 8Ghadames

You have a full day tour of Ghadames today. You start in the modern town, visiting the museum which is located in a former Turkish fort, before entering the ancient medina. In the evening you drive into the dunes to see the sunset.

Day 9Ghadames - Tripoli

You return to Tripoli today, visiting Kabow Qasr, Tormisa and Gharyan en route.

Day 10Tripoli

You have the day at leisure in Tripoli. You will be met on arrival in Sebha and will spend the night either at one of the town`s hotels or at a fixed camp on the outskirts of the town.

Day 11Tripoli - Sebha

Today you fly to Sebha, where you will be met on arrival and taken to one of the town`s hotels or to a fixed camp on the outskirts of the town.

Day 12The Fezzan

You start your exploration of The Fezzan today, driving from Sebha to Al-Awainat and into the Acacus Mountains. You spend the night camping in the desert.

Day 13The Fezzan

Today you travel between Wadi Awiss and Wadi Tashwinat within the Acacus Mountains.

Day 14The Fezzan

Today`s exploration takes you from Wadi Tashwinat and on to Wadi Awat before camping near Al-Awainat.

Day 15Sebha - Tripoli

You drive into the dunes today and spend the night in the desert. You spend the morning at the desert lakes, then drive to Sebha in the afternoon ready for an evening flight to Tripoli.

Day 16Tripoli

This morning you have sightseeing in Tripoli, taking in the Medina and the Museum.

Day 17Tripoli

You have the morning at leisure before your return flight to London in the afternoon.
