This morning you fly from London to Tripoli. On arrival you will be met and taken to your hotel.
Today your guide will collect you and take you to the Roman site of Sabratha. Here a local guide will help you explore the ruins. On your way back to Tripoli you stop to visit the small site of Janzour, with its interesting tomb frescoes.
You head to Ghadames today. This journey will take most of the day but you will stop on the way to visit the Berber fortified granaries (known as qasrs) at Qasr Al Haj and Nalut.
Today you visit Ghadames with a local guide who will help you discover the labyrinthine alleyways and the old houses. Just before sunset you go into the desert for a short drive across the dunes.
This morning you return to Tripoli. En route you visit the qasr at Kabow, the ruined village at Tormisa and the troglodyte dwellings at Gharyan, a town which is also famous for its pottery.
You visit the Roman site of Leptis Magna today, accompanied by a local guide. You return to Tripoli for the night.
You spend your final day visiting the medina of Tripoli and the National Museum, accompanied by your guide.
You have the morning at leisure. Around midday you will be taken to the airport for your return flight to London, which arrives back on the same day.
