Visiting Morocco for the first time

With a wealth of different experiences on offer in Morocco, from the bustle of Marrakesh and Fez to the Roman ruins in the north, the laid back Atlantic coast and of course the famous Atlas Mountains and Southern Desert, it is important to prioritise which destinations you would enjoy the most.

An itinerary for the first-time visitor really depends on the amount of time you wish to spend in the country and how much travelling you want to do. Longer transfers, all of which are private, usually have sights to visit en-route to break up the journey and add to your experience.

A classic itinerary takes in the three very diverse areas: manic Marrakesh, relaxed Essaouira and the scenic Atlas Mountains, a beautiful area for both relaxing and trekking.
