After flying into Marrakesh you will be transferred to a riad which is your base for the next three nights.
Today you will have a private guide to take you around the vibrant city of Marrakesh. You will have the opportunity to visit the beautiful Saadien Tombs as well as maybe the Bahia Palace and Koutoubia Mosque. In the afternoon you will be guided around the different quarters of the medina, seeing craftsmen still practicing their traditional trades.
You have a day at leisure to continue to explore Marrakesh. After venturing further into the medina and souk you may enjoy visiting the Majorelle Gardens which are based in the Gueliz.They are the ideal place to spend a peaceful hour or two away from the hustle and bustle of this busy city. The Gueliz area of the city was built during the French Protectorate, and is well worth a visit for a leisurely lunch.
Today you will leave Marrakech and your driver will take you to Essaouira. Essaouira is a picturesque old Portuguese coastal town that is full of charm.
Today you enjoy some camel riding. In the afternoon either relax, explore the port, ramparts and the medina, or sample the fresh fish in one of the many restaurants along the quayside.
Another free day to maybe watch the kite and wind-surfers just off shore on the beach. If you are feeling adventurous we can organise some kite surfing lessons for you!
This morning you will be picked up from your Riad in Essaouira and taken to the High Atlas Mountains where you will have the afternoon to relax.
Today is free to maybe try a walk in the local area and visit some of the local Berber villages, if you need a guide and a mule your accommodation can organise this for you.
This is your final day in the mountains and if you don`t feel like more walking you could organise a trip to the local village of Tin Mal - this town is of great historical importance and also has one of the most stunning mosques in Morocco.
Today you will be picked up from your accommodation in the mountains and transferred to Marrakesh airport for your flight back to the UK.
