Day by Day

Day 1London - Marrakesh

On arrival in Marrakesh you will be met by your driver for the transfer to your riad, where you'll stay for three nights.

Day 2Marrakesh

In the morning you will be picked up for a fascinating tour of the main sights of the city. The day will be broken up with lunch, and you might want to book one of the many excellent restaurants for your evening meal.

Day 3Marrakesh

A day at leisure, during which you might want to visit the city parks or arrange a day trip to the High Atlas Mountains, with lunch at the Kasbah du Toubkal.

Day 4Marrakesh - Skoura

Today you leave the city behind and set off over the High Atlas. Travelling through spectacular scenery, part of your journey is by 4x4, allowing you to visit the more remote areas on your way south. You'll travel along the Dades Valley to Skoura, where you stay for two nights.

Day 5Skoura

Today you might want to relax at your hotel or explore the nearby kasbahs and palmeries on a donkey.

Day 6Skoura - Erg Chebbi

Continuing along the Dades Valley, you will visit the Todra Gorge en route to Erfoud, on the edge of the Sahara desert. From here you travel in to heart of the desert on a short camel ride, stopping to watch the sun set over the dunes before settling.

Day 7Erg Chebbi - Fez

A long but interesting journey today, taking you to the north of the country. Your route takes you through the Middle Atlas to Fez, for a three night stay to explore the city in full.

Day 8Fez

Your guided tour of Fez will cover all of the main sights, including exploration of the ancient medina. You can end the day relaxing on the roof terrace of your riad, listening to the evening call to prayer echo around the city.

Day 9Fez

A full day tour, visiting the impressive Roman ruins of Voloublis and the imperial city of Meknes.

Day 10Fez - Casablanca

Travelling on to Casablanca, you spend your last night here before your return flight the following morning.

Day 11Casablanca

Transfer to Casablanca airport for your return flight.
