You have an overnight flight direct to Muscat.
Your driver will meet you on arrival at the airport for the transfer to your hotel and check in. You then have the rest of the day to relax after your journey.
Your guide will collect you from your hotel this morning to discover the sights of Muscat, including a visit to the Grand Mosque.
You have a day at leisure.
Today you head off for the interior of the country, stopping to visit Seeb, Nakhl and Wadi Bani Auf en route. You'll stay in fascinating Nizwa for three nights.
A full day excursion today, visiting mountain villages, travelling along the impressive Wadi Ghul and exploring the attractive Wadi Nakheer.
A second day of exploration, with sights including the Jabreen and Bahla Forts and the isolated Bat tombs, set against the striking mountain scenery.
En route to the desert you visit Izki and Sanaw, stopping off for a picnic lunch. You continue on to the desert and drive through the dunes to the desert camp. Here you can watch the sun set over the dunes, before a traditional dinner back at camp.
In the morning you can visit the beautiful Wadi Bani Khalid, on your journey from the desert to the coast. You'll stay at the Ras al - Jinz Centre and have time to rest before your evening excursion to the Green Turtle beach.
Today you return to Muscat along the coastal road via Sur. This afternoon you fly to Salalah, where you'll stay for five nights of rest and exploration.
You have a full day excursion to the North of Salalah, including the forts of Mirbat and Taqa.
A second full day excursion to the South of Salalah, including Job's Tomb, Mughsail beach and some truly beautiful coastal scenery.

You have an early morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Muscat. Your connecting flight to London arrives back on the same day.
