Day by Day

Day 1London - Damascus

This afternoon you fly from London to Damascus, where you land in the late evening. On arrival you will be met and taken to your hotel.

Day 2Damascus

Today you visit Damascus, taking in the souqs, the Umayyad Mosque and the National Museum.

Day 3Damascus

You go to the south of Damascus today to visit the site of Bosra and other points of interest, including the church at Ezra and the mosaics at Shahba.

Day 4Damascus - Palmyra

Your driver and guide will collect you today for the drive to Palmyra. En route you stop to visit the town of Ma`alula and Deir Mar Musa.

Day 5Palmyra

Today you have a tour of Palmyra with your guide.

Day 6Palmyra - Aleppo

From Palmyra you go to Aleppo today, visiting the Roman site of Apamea on your way.

Day 7Aleppo

For your day tour of the city, you'll visit the souqs, Citadel and Grand Mosque of Aleppo.

Day 8Aleppo

Today you have a long day from Aleppo, taking in the Church of St Simeon, the small site of Ain Dara and the Dead City of Serjilla.

Day 9Aleppo - Damascus

You go to Damascus today, visiting Hama on your way south from Aleppo.

Day 10Damascus - Amman

Today you travel from Damascus, across the border into Jordan and on to Amman.

Day 11Amman

Your driver will collect you today for a tour of the sites of northern Jordan, taking in Jerash (where a local guide is provided), Umm Qais and Ajloun Castle.

Day 12Amman - Petra

You will be collected this morning and taken to Petra, along the Kings Highway. En route you stop to visit Madaba, Mount Nebo and Kerak Castle.

Day 13Petra

Today you have a tour of Petra, where a local guide will accompany you for around two hours. Following this you are free to explore the magical sights under your own steam.

Day 14Petra

The second day at Petra is an ideal opportunity to re-visit the site and see some of the more remote areas, such as the Monastery and the High Place of Sacrifice.

Day 15Petra - The Dead Sea

Today you travel to Wadi Rum for a brief jeep tour of the stunning landscapes. Later you go to the Dead Sea, arriving in the late afternoon.

Day 16The Dead Sea

A day at leisure at the Dead Sea - the perfect opportunity to wind down and enjoy a spa treatment.

Day 17The Dead Sea - Amman

An early start for the transfer to the airport in time for your flight back to London, arriving at your destination this afternoon.
