Day 1London - Tunis

You fly from London to Tunis, where you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel, for two nights in a great setting right in the middle of the medina.

Day 2Tunis

The day starts with a morning excursion of Tunis medina with your English speaking guide. After a stop for lunch you will be collected by your driver and taken to the Bardo Museum, for a guided afternoon visit before head off to nearby Carthage.

Day 3Tunis - Le Kef

After breakfast you'll be picked up for the journey west to Le Kef. You will stop along the way and visit the fascinating Roman sights at Thuburbo Majus and Dougga.

Day 4Le Kef - Kairouan

Your driver will collect you this morning as you will head off to Kairouan, where you will get the chance to stop off at Elles Tombs and Maktar along the way. You have the next two nights in Kairouan.

Day 5Kairouan

Two extraordinary excursions today, beginning with a tour of Kairouan, including the awesome Great Mosque. After lunch, it's on to the spectacular Roman amphitheatre of El Jem, probably the most famous single sight in Tunisia.

Day 6Kairouan - Sidi Bou Said

Today's drive to Sidi Bou Said takes around two and a half hours, broken up with a stop at the small village of Takrouna, which has an intriguing story from World War II. In laid back Sidi Bou Said you'll stay for two nights in a boutique hotel.

Day 7Sidi Bou Said

You have today at leisure in Sidi Bou Said to relax at your hotel or enjoy exploring this charming coastal town.

Day 8Sidi Bou Said - Tunis

After breakfast you will be transferred to Tunis airport in time for your flight home, which arrives back in the UK on the same day.
