October is traditionally China’s peak season, however November, particularly the beginning of the month, can still be a good time to travel. The Yangtze is one of the world’s great rivers and a journey on it is a relaxing way to take in some of China, with some spectacular scenery around the Three Gorges. This can easily be combined with some of the other key sites in China.
The Yangtze Explorer
With just 62 cabins, the Yangtze Explorer is the smallest and newest boat on the Yangtze, offering the highest standards on the river. Each cabin has its own private balcony, and there is an a-la-carte restaurant on board.
