Day by Day

Day 1London

Fly from London to Tokyo arriving the following day.

Day 2Tokyo

On arrival into Japan and having cleared customs you will be met by one of our representatives who will hand you your welcome pack and show you to the Narita Express train service into the city. Spend the rest of the day relaxing after your long flight.

Day 3Tokyo

Make use of any lingering jet lag and visit the early morning Tsukiji Fish Market - buzzing with life, this is the biggest fish market in the world and a great place to see the locals in action. The rest of the day will be spent exploring this busy metropolis at your own pace.

Day 4Tokyo

Spend the day exploring Kamakura, once Japan's capital and home to the Great Buddha.

Day 5Tokyo - Kyoto

Today travel to Kyoto, home to some of Japan's most important works of art, its richest culture and its most refined cuisine.

At leisure in Kyoto.

Day 8Kyoto - Tokyo

Make use of your rail pass and take the bullet train to Hiroshima to explore the moving Peace Park and Memorial Museum. Be sure to stop for a lunch of the local speciality of okonomiyaki. Return to Tokyo in the afternoon.

Day 9Tokyo

Take the airport shuttle to Narita for your flight back to the UK.
