Day by Day

Day 1London - Moscow

Depart from London this morning. On arrival in Moscow your guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 2Moscow

This morning start exploring the city with a visit to the magnificent Kremlin and the Armoury Museum. The afternoon is at leisure - we suggest visiting the nearby Gorky park. This evening we can arrange circus tickets for Chocolade at Nikulin Circus.

Day 3Moscow

This morning visit the Central Musuem of Armed Forces - perfect for the boys in your family. Alternatively if that does not appeal we can arrange a visit to a gallery.

Day 4Moscow - St Petersburg

After a leisurely morning transfer to the station for your journey to St Petersburg. On arrival your guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 5St Petersburg

Start exploring the city with a visit to the Peter and Paul fortress today - the birth place of St Petersburg. Onsite the fortress is the impressive Peter and Paul Cathedral, the burial place of all the Russian Emperors and Empresses from Peter the Great. The afternoon is at leisure - why not visit the local gift market for a chance to participate in a Matrioshka painting class.

Day 6St Petersburg

This morning take a tour of the Hermitage with your guide - with the possible exception of the Louvre, there is no museum in the world that rivals the Hermitage in size and quality. Afternoon is free if you want to continue browsing. In the evening we can arrange ballet tickets.

Day 7St Petersburg

Today visit the beautiful fountained gardens and palace of Peterhof - the Summer residence of Peter the Great. You will travel there by hydrofoil for spectacular views of the city and return to your hotel by car.

Day 8St Petersburg

Your journey ends on a high note - a drive out from the city takes you to the staggeringly opulent Tsar`s Village, where you visit the Summer Palace of Catherine the Great. From here you continue to the airport for your return flight to London.
