This is undoubtedly Tibet’s most characterful hotel, located in a traditional building with Tibetan décor throughout.

The rooms are not large but are decorated in true Tibetan style - colours, furnishings and so on - and the hotel staff are extremely friendly.

There is a modest breakfast restaurant but the hotel's location in the old part of Lhasa means that you are only 3-5 minutes away from numerous restaurants.
