Cruise Ships in Antarctica: Prince Albert II

The Prince Albert II is undoubtedly the most comfortable expedition vessel that we have seen - the service is top notch and the cabins are very comfortable.  If we were to pick holes it would be to say that there is not a massive amount of open deck space - but there is more than enough for the number of people on board.

Prince Albert II

132 Passengers

The Prince Albert II has already established itself as one of the most luxurious expedition vessels in Polar waters.

The A1 ice class hull is as the highest possible class offering the 132 passengers the highest levels of safety in notoriously difficult seas. The cabins range from staterooms to opulent suites, all with windows and some with private balconies. While the service levels on board are certainly five star you can be assured that these trips are still expeditions with as many landings made as you would expect on much smaller vessels. There are enough zodiacs to get all passengers off the ship at one time and for those on board you will find cafe's, a spa, gym, lecture room and library.

Silver Seas operates an all inclusive approach to their expeditions so you will find an endless supply of champagne, wines, beers and spirits and fantastic food.  Neither will you be expected to pay any gratuities during your stay, even for the 24-hour room service.
