Reasons To
Visit Argentina

  • Estancias

Argentina’s history of agriculture and in particular of rearing livestock has resulted in hundreds of estancias, or ranches, across the country that open their doors year round to visitors looking for a taste of the authentic cowboy life.

  • Iguazú Falls

Straddling the Argentina and Brazil border it is the Argentine side that provides the opportunity for the detailed and close up views of some of the 276 waterfalls that make up Iguazú. The numerous vantage points and forested trails make for a wonderful experience of nature at her best.

Accommodation in Argentina: Palacio Duhau

Owned by the Park Hyatt group, the Palacio Duhau offers luxurious, comfortable accommodation and excellent fine dining in the heart of Buenos Aires.

Our Rating: Deluxe

Palacio Duhau

Buenos Aires

Owned by the Park Hyatt group, the Palacio Duhau is a wonderful 5 star hotel in the heart of Buenos Aires.

Rooms are either in the original renovated 'Palace', or the new building across the courtyard (location but not room type is allocated on arrival and both buildings have their advantages). All rooms are sumptuously decorated with amenities such as walk-in shower, marble bath tub and DVD player. A beautiful courtyard lies between the two buildings, full of flowers and with an excellent open air restaurant.

There are two other restaurants, with a spectacular 'cheese cellar', which have quickly become some of the most popular places to eat in Buenos Aires, and the Duhau Spa is top notch.
