Day by Day

Day 1London - Recife - Olinda

Flights to Recife via Lisbon. Evening arrival where you will be met by your guide and taken to your hotel in the charming colonial town of Olinda.

Day 2Olinda

Day at leisure to relax and explore Olinda.

Day 3Recife - Praiagogi

Today you will be transferred to the car hire office to pick up your car. Drive south to your hotel at Maragogi. Perhaps stop en route for lunch at Porto de Galinhas.

Day 4Praiagogi

At leisure - a chance to snorkel in natural pools, possibly go fishing with the locals, sailing and swimming.

Day 5Praiagogi

At leisure to enjoy the area or explore with your car.

Day 6Praiagogi - Penedo

Today you will drive about 300km to Penedo, with a chance to stop en route.

Day 7Penedo

Time at leisure to explore this lovely colonial town.

Day 8Penedo - Praia do Forte

Drive south to Praia do Forte, a coastal town just north of Salvador.

Day 9Praia do Forte

At leisure at the beach.

Day 10Praia do Forte

At leisure - there are water sports at the hotel or you could visit the Tamar Turtle project.

Day 11Praia do Forte - Salvador

This morning drive to Salvador airport first thing to drop off the car. You will be met and transferred to your hotel on the edge of the Pelourinho district. Time at leisure to explore the central Pelourinho district with its churches, museums and market.

Day 12Salvador

At leisure in Salvador.

Day 13Salvador

Morning at leisure before you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Lisbon to connect on to London.

Day 14London

Arrive in the UK.
