The finest overall view of the falls is from the Brazilian side, as it is said that 'Argentina puts on the show and Brazil enjoys the view'.
A short walk on well marked trails takes you to some magnificent vantage points for panoramic vistas.
I recommend watching the locals play volleyball as the sunsets over Rio on Ipanema Beach.
