Tanganga is also a beautiful spot, it is a small fishing village set within a deep bay south of Santa Marta.
Parque Nacional Tayrona
A visit to the Caribbean coast is not complete without exploring the Parque Nacional Tayrona. The landscape varies from sandy beach in the north to dense rainforest in the south which was once a settlement for the Tayrona Indians.
It is Tayrona’s beaches though that are a firm favourite with travellers. They are said to be the best in Colombia as they are set in deep bays and shaded by palms.
