After graduating with a degree in archaeology from University College London, Jonathan decided to travel the world, it was on this year long trip that he discovered, and fell for, Latin America. His journey included Argentina, Chile (including Easter Island), Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil where he enjoyed Rio's world-famous carnival. Since joining Audley he has returned to Chile and Argentina to explore the parts he initially did not reach and see the many hotels and lodges we use. With two years spent in the wine trade Jonathan also has a passion and knowledge for the wines of both countries. He has recently travelled to the Falkland Islands, Antarctica and South Georgia.
After graduating from Sheffield University, Nick spent time undertaking charity work alongside Prince William in remote parts of southern Chile. Taking advantage of this unique opportunity he then went on to travel extensively through Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. Embarking on a career with Audley Travel has enabled Nick to further develop his interest in the landscape and culture of the continent he loves. As part of his role, he has returned to South America on several occasions to expand his knowledge of Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Guyana, Argentina and Antarctica. Nick has also played an integral part in assisting with the set up of the Central America programme by travelling through Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Honduras.
Having already found a passion for travelling, Phil graduated from Brunel University with a degree in Sports Science and immediately set off to see more of the world. His first port of call was South America, which immediately fired a deep interest and love of the continent. Phil travelled extensively through Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador, as well as Central America. Upon joining Audley, he returned to Peru, Bolivia and Chile to complement his knowledge. Amongst more recent trips to South America on behalf of Audley, he has re-visited Ecuador (where he fulfilled a lifelong ambition of climbing Cotopaxi volcano), cruised in the Galapagos Islands, and has most recently returned from a voyage to Antarctica.
