Chilean theatre festival brings South American cultures together: 21-01-2008

The International Upa Theatre Festival takes place in Chile and welcomes national and international talent.
Upa stands for "unidos por amor" which means "united by the love for the theatre" and the event, which is held in the Iquique's Municipal Theatre, brings South American, Spanish and Portuguese theatre to the stage.
The event is perfect for travellers who want to experience some of the culture of Chile whilst visiting the country.
Chile was an important centre for the Inca civilisation and one of the places that many travellers should visit is San Pedro de Atacama where travellers can admire the Inca's architecture and the stunning scenery.
The Valley of the Moon is one of the most unusual places in the area and features many sand and stone formations that have been naturally created.
It was declared a nature sanctuary and inherits its name from the strange lunar landscape that it depicts and it is also one of the driest places on the planet.
