Travelling to the Dutch Antilles will give visitors a chance to try the famous Curacao liqueur that is made in the region.
The drink is made from dried peel from the Curacao orange and visitors can indulge in tasting sessions that occur at the Curacao Liqueur Distillery.
The Distillery has been making the drink to an original recipe since 1886 and visitors can enjoy a guided tour and witness production while enjoying a few tasting sessions along the way.
A tropical climate with warm temperatures all year round will draw visitors to the Antilles where they will be able to learn about the diverse culture that can be found on the islands.
Carnivals are a very important part of the island's holiday scene which the Antilles inherits through its Latin American influences.
Colourful parades, floats and live bands accompany beauty contests in another similarity to Latin American culture.
But travellers will be certain to sample a glass of the local tipple that is famous across the world.
