For dedicated divers we can organise specialised seven- to ten-day dive boat charters such as on the Sky Dancer or Lammer Law. These boats concentrate solely on diving, with as many as five dives a day, and their land excursions are restricted to two or three during your voyage. These trips give you the opportunity to reach the best diving spots off the renowned northern islands of Wolf and Darwin, famous for their schools of hammerhead sharks, giant manta rays and whale sharks (between May and November). There are no land visitor sites here, just serious diving! The reef contains many warm water varieties of fish found nowhere else in the islands.
Although the diving in the Galapagos is fantastic and rewarding, you do need to be an experienced and certified diver due to the strong currents, sea swells, surges, cooler water temperatures and often difficult entries and exits from the dive boat.
