MV Eclipse
Galapagos Islands
The Eclipse is a superb option for those seeking comfort and excellent service while enjoying a genuine experience of the Galapagos Islands.
26 spacious cabins spread across 2 decks can accommodate up to 48 passengers. The entry level staterooms can be found on the "main deck". These large cabins are lit by a series of portholes, are air-conditioned, have internal phones and come with twin or double beds. There are also two cabins on this deck that are for single use only and avoid hefty single supplements.
On the upper "boat deck" guests can find the Superior Staterooms which are identical to the Staterooms below in terms of size and layout. These Superior Staterooms benefit from an elevated position as well as large picture windows.
At the front of the boat deck there are four Deluxe Staterooms which are larger, come with a one-time stocked mini-bar and have a bathtub in the bathrooms. Two of these cabins have sofa beds which can be used for triple occupancy.
In terms of communal facilities, the Eclipse offers its guests a jacuzzi with al fresco dining area and bar and a library, and crucially, passengers are taken ashore for island visits in groups of only twelve per guide, fewer than is the case on many other cruises.
