Bruce Parry in the Amazon: 11-02-2008

Bruce Parry in the Amazon

Due to be screened in the Autumn of 2008 on BBC Two, explorer Bruce Parry embarks on an epic journey down the Amazon to discover the stories of the people who live along the world's greatest river. A small film crew, who will share his experiences along the way, will document Bruce's breathtaking voyage from the disputed source in the Peruvian Andes to the Atlantic coast of Brazil.

There is no need to wait that long to see Bruce in action - footage, images and blogs are sent back by Bruce and the team in the field, and updated regularly on their website.

For inspiration please see our suggested Manu Explorer itinerary to the Peruvian Amazon, as well as Ecuador Naturally which incorporates time spent enjoying the Amazon rainforest, in addition to a Galapagos cruise.
