Day by Day

Day 1London - Madrid - Lima

Fly from London to Lima via Madrid. Transfer to your hotel on arrival.

Day 2Lima

Enjoy a guided tour of the highlights of Lima.

Day 3Lima - Arequipa

Fly to Arequipa, known as the "White City" due to the colour of its sillar architecture. You will be met and transferred to your hotel and you will have the afternoon to relax and acclimatise to the altitude.

Day 4Arequipa

Enjoy a guided tour of the beautiful colonial centre of Arequipa.

Day 5Arequipa - Colca Canyon

Travel by road through stunning scenery into the Colca Valley. You will pass herds of grazing llama and vicuna at altitudes of over 4500m.

Day 6Colca Canyon - Puno

Morning excursion to "Condor`s Cross," one of the deepest points of the canyon, and from where you will have an excellent opportunity to see the Andean condors circling just above your heads. Afternoon transfer by road to Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca.

Day 7Puno

Full day excursion by boat on the lake. You will visit the strange floating Uros Islands as well as the more traditional island of Taquile.

Day 8Puno - Cuzco

Transfer across the stunning altiplano through pretty villages and past grazing vicuna to the former Incan capital of Cuzco.

Day 9Cuzco

Enjoy a half day city tour of Cuzco and a number of the nearby Incan ruins.

Day 10Cuzco - Sacred Valley of Incas

Full day excursion into the Sacred Valley visiting a colourful market as well as larger Inca sites.

Day 11Sacred Valley of Incas - Machu Picchu

Take the train to Aguas Calientes, the small town that nestles in the valley beneath Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of the ruins.

Day 12Machu Picchu - Cuzco

Option to either revisit the ruins at your own pace. Afternoon return to Cuzco by train.

Day 13Cuzco - Lima

Morning free in Cuzco for one last exploration before transferring to the airport in time for your flight to Lima and then on to London via Madrid.

Day 14Madrid

Arrive in the UK.
